Our Mission
FactRelay Media is dedicated to delivering factual, timely, and balanced news coverage.
Our mission is to
relay verified facts that matter — providing readers with credible information to make informed decisions about the world around them.
Editorial Independence
FactRelay Media operates with complete editorial independence.
Our newsroom makes all content decisions — including topic selection, story framing, and headline writing — free from outside influence by advertisers, sponsors, or political groups.
Editors and journalists are required to disclose any conflicts of interest and are prohibited from covering topics where personal, financial, or political bias could affect reporting.
Accuracy and Verification
We strive for
accuracy above all.
Before publication, all stories go through a three-step editorial process:
- Fact-checking and verification using multiple independent sources.
- Review by an editor for accuracy, clarity, and fairness.
- Final approval by a senior editor or managing editor.
If an error is discovered after publication, FactRelay Media promptly
issues a correction or clarification.
Corrections are labeled clearly at the end of the article or in our “Corrections” archive.
Sources and Attribution
FactRelay Media prioritizes on-the-record sources.
Anonymous sources are used only when:
- Information is of strong public interest.
- The source could face harm or retaliation.
- The information can be independently verified.
All direct quotations, data, and media must be attributed to credible sources (official reports, recognized news agencies, or verified experts).
Editorial Standards
- We do not publish rumors, fabricated quotes, or manipulated media.
- Headlines accurately reflect story content — we do not use clickbait.
- Visual content (photos, graphics, video) must be authentic and ethically obtained.
- AI-generated or enhanced content will always be disclosed clearly.
- Sponsored content is labeled as “Sponsored” or “Partnered”.
Opinion and Commentary
Opinion pieces and editorials represent the
views of the authors, not of the organization.
These are labeled clearly as “Opinion” or “Editorial” and are held to the same standards of accuracy and fairness.
Ethics and Conduct
FactRelay Media adheres to the principles of:
- Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Code of Ethics
- Reuters Trust Principles
Our team commits to:
- Seek truth and report it accurately.
- Minimize harm.
- Act independently.
- Be accountable and transparent.
